A sunken dining room–three steps below ground level–features banquettes and a slender porthole into the kitchen. Outside, a blue-striped awning extends over the sidewalk to cover a dozen tables lined with white tablecloths for al fresco dining. Any or all of the dining spaces can be configured and combined for events of various sorts and sizes, from an after-work reception to a closing dinner, or a wedding.
